Even though we are based out of Tampa(Wesley Chapel), FL, we still love to travel all over the globe to capture beautiful impactful images for our clients. We had the pleasure of capturing Janice and John’s maternity session all over the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. We traveled from Torrecilla Baja beach, downtown San Juan, all the way to La Cueva del Indio to capture their pictures to welcome their new baby boy to the family. Here’s a quick peek of what’s to come from these two. Again congratulations you two!
When thinking and planning about important pictures, you should think of unique places and situations that will make you stand out from everyone else. How many times do you plan on getting married? How many children do you plan on having? How many times will your child graduate from high school? These are the things to keep in mind when you are planning for big events. Do you want the same things as everyone else? Or do you want something that will make everyone else drool. Make them DROOL!
We photographed this maternity session for Dominique a little while back at Redington Beach in Pinellas County, FL. As I have always said, maternity sessions are always my favorite session to do. As a father, I realize now as my children grow up the importance of being able to look back to just a few weeks (or days) before they were born. Maternity session are one of the most important events in a young mother and father’s life. It’s where their family started and signals the moment they are responsible for someone other then themselves. So it was fun to go out there with Dominique as you was preparing to welcome her first child into the world.
Dominique and her boyfriend justed welcomed their new baby girl the other day. Congrats to you both!!!
Here is a sneak peek from Ashley and Brad’s New Tampa maternity session. They will be welcoming little Dexter within the next few weeks! It was truly my honor to capture their lovely moments together. Of course, besides the very serious lovely moments between the two of them, it wouldn’t be them without having a little fun while doing this as well. I know everyone is excited to welcome this new addition to the family.
One of our June Tampa maternity sessions was featured in the July 2016 Shutter Magazine anniversary edition. It truly is an honor to have any of our work published and featured in a national magazine. We want to thank everyone that has supported us and we look forward to creating more beautiful pieces of our for all our current and future clients! Thanks
Check us out! We would love to be your maternity photographer! We have different packages to meet everyone’s needs and budgets. We don’t just take pictures, we create works of art that you will want to hang on your wall for years to come. Contact us to discuss your upcoming big day.
We had the honor of capturing Kelly and Chris’ family and maternity pictures the other day in front of the Watergrass Community in Wesley Chapel, FL. We were able to create some very epic images that I think everyone will remember forever. Pictures like these are the reason that I love shooting maternity portraits. The other thing I love about maternity sessions is getting the whole family involved in the process and getting the opportunity of meeting all the other members of the family. Jayden (big brother) is someone that knows how to make taking pictures fun. He had his on style and flair. It’s fun capturing someone that can just be who they are in front of the camera. Dylan (soon to be promoted to big brother and middle sibling) is a sweetheart. The whole family was a joy to work with and can’t wait for the chance to capture beautiful pictures for them again in the future.
Chris, Kelly, Jayden, and Dylan are excited to welcome Maverick to the family in the coming days. Congratulations to this beautiful family and thanking for working with us!
**Family session during the middle of a maternity sessions are important because you don’t ever want the other kids feeling they aren’t as speical anymore. That’s why I love to incorporate the whole family together during the shoot. Yes the mother and her beautiful belly are the focus of the shoot itself, but just a few quick pictures of the little ones makes them feel that they are apart of the team as well.
Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life!!! You want to make sure that the photography company you choose for your big day has all the appropriate gear necessary to capture every moment regardless of the lighting challenges that they face. I have shoot in every possible lighting situation. To be honest with you I don’t find that one is photographic style is greater then the other. That’s why I like to encompass all of them into my work. It really all just depends on the day and the available light. It also depends if I want to do something edgy and dramatic. My photographic style-gear allows me to be ready in any lighing situations or conditions. Listed below are the items that I use or have available to me during a wedding event.
*Please note that I shoot with Canon gear, but this does not mean that Nikon or Sony don’t have gear on the same level as Canon. Truthfully I actually believe Nikon makes better camera bodies overall, but what put Canon over the top is it’s better quality lenses and available accssories.
**Please also note that this gear applies to all my other areas of photography besides for my headshots. For headshots I use a totally different lighting system.
Canon 5DsR- One of Canon’s newest professional cameras, we use this camera to create works of Art. With over 50 megapixels it is meant for your large wall art canvas pictures.
Canon 5DIII- This is Canon’s workhorse camera. Most standard photographers use this camera to capture your speical day.
Canon 6D- The 5d’s little brother, this is a great camera that can hold it’s on in just about any situation.
Canon 11-24mm f/4L- The widest available lens in canons long arsenal, this lens is used to capture dramatic scenes and the whole wedding venue in one shot.
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L II- Standard walk around lens that is used for candid pictures throught the day.
Canon 50mm f/1.2L – Used for unique images during the engagement session and bridal prep.
Canon 70-200 f/2.8L II- Our workhorse lens, we use it to stay out of the way of you and your guest on the big day. With this lens we are able to capture everything from for away and be as inconspicuous as possible.
Canon 85mm f/1.2L II- The best portrait lens available regards of brand, we mostly use this lens during the engagement and bridal session and during wedding prep.
Canon 100 f/2.8L- We mainly use this lens for detail shots and ring shots. It can also be used in a creative nature.
Profoto B1– One of the best & strongest portable lighting system available to photographers. The light is strong enough that no lighting situation should be a challenge. It can’t turn not into day but it is strong enough to turn day into night.
Profoto B2- The little brother to the B1, it offers half the power of the B1, but it is still a very powerful option to have in the bag. Sometimes you just need a little kiss of light to make the picture pop. This is what this is used for.
Canon 600ex-rt- These are our standard flashes that we use throwout the wedding day. We have a couple of these that we can sometimes place around the event hall to add a little light in hard to reach areas.
We have many other lighting options that we use to create beautiful unique images. From light stands to reflectors, we have it all at our deposile
Today we are here to announce that Janice and JD Davis will be having a new bundle of joy to add to their family. We captured their pictures at one of Orange County Fire Rescue stations because both of them work there. It’s a speical place to them and it was my honor to work with them. They will be having a gender announcement party in a few weeks to tell everyone what they will be having.
Ade’imy and her fiance Anthony are expecting their first child, a boy! This session comes from Daphne side of the Mobile Bay. Words couldn’t express how much in love they are and how happy they were to have this maternity session. It was truly my pleasure working with these two! Congratulations again!
Today we had the pleasure of doing a maternity shoot with the lovely Jazmine Jackson and her daughter Brelynn. She and her fiancé are expecting a baby boy in a few weeks. The shoot was located on the large beautiful farm known as Oak Hollow Farm in Fairhope, AL. I love to shoot in wide open areas like this because you can match the beautiful mother to be with the large open scenery around her. With that said though, the person that stole the show was little Brelynn. She was camera ready and always there to help her mother out. She’s going to be a great big sister! Congratulations to you Jazmine and big sister to be Brelynn.
